Maagrace is a solar powered, 600+ machine garment factory, specializing in the production of underwear, fleece and workwear for the international market.

The factory is based in Ghana (West Africa) 2 hours from both the capital city Accra and the deep sea port at Tema.

WHO WE ARE
Founded in 2003 in Koforidua, Ghana, by Ghanaian entrepreneur Comfort Owusu-Agyemang, Maagrace Garment Industries was created to provide sustainable employment and training opportunities, especially for women in the region. Her vision laid the foundation for what has become one of West Africa’s leading garment manufacturers.

In 2021, Ethical Apparel Africa (EAA) became the majority shareholder and has since invested significantly to expand Maagrace’s export capacity, technical systems, and infrastructure. Working closely with the Owusu-Agyemang family, we continue to build on Comfort’s legacy to deliver world-class, sustainable apparel manufacturing in Ghana.

Today, Maagrace specializes in the production of underwear, workwear, sweats, T-shirts, and nightwear for international markets. With over 1,000 employees and an expansion to double its capacity, we remain deeply committed to worker wellbeing, offering daily lunches, transport, health education, and clear career pathways.
Maagrace is strategically located just two hours from both Accra and the Tema seaport, ensuring efficient shipping to the USA, UK, and Europe.
