Our Vision: To be the most ethical, sustainable, and trusted apparel manufacturer in West Africa

WHO WE ARE

Maagrace was founded in 2003 in Koforidua, Ghana, by pioneering Ghanaian entrepreneur Comfort Owusu-Agyemang. Comfort's goal was to provide employment and training in this semi-rural area, especially to women facing severe under-employment and lack of opportunity. Today, thanks to her vision and dedication, Maagrace has become the largest employer in the region and a leader in women's economic empowerment. Very sadly, Comfort passed away in late 2022. Her legacy will forever live on in Maagrace's continued impact on people and on the industry.

In 2021, Ethical Apparel Africa acquired a majority share in Maagrace and invested significantly to increase Maagrace's export capacity. EAA partners closely with the Owusu-Agyemang family as we work to achieve the Maagrace vision.
